200 MMscfd CRYOGENIC PROCESSING FACILITY – This greenfield job site was hit by a tornado during construction. KAHUNA USA had to adjust engineering efforts to find and repair damaged electrical equipment and adjust contractor priorities in order to keep the project commissioning on schedule.

Natrium Cryo 3 - WV
200 MMscfd CRYOGENIC PROCESSING FACILITY – The power and control system designs for this facility expansion required detailed planning in order to avoid downtime of a large scale existing operating facility. Redundancy within the facility power distribution system had to be maintained, along with a dual-control system philosophy. KAHUNA USA performed electrical inspection and contractor oversight to ensure safe tie-ins and commissioning within active process areas.

Darkhorse Treating Facility Train I & II - NM
160 MMscfd ACID GAS TREATING – This facility processes a gas stream with high H2S content, which is concentrated into a high pressure dense phase liquid for reinfection. KAHUNA USA performed a detailed analysis of the various process areas in order to properly apply electrical hazardous classification principals for equipment and chemicals not addressed by current published standards.
